MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Network Security Engineer Senior, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our customer. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the security and integrity of the customer network. Network Security Management: Design, implement, and manage security measures to protect network and information systems. Firewall Administration: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls to ensure optimal performance and security. Cloud Deployment: Deploy and manage Palo Alto firewalls in cloud environments, including AWS, GCP, and Azure. Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security incidents and potential threats, providing timely and effective resolutions. Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with organizational goals. Continuous Monitoring: Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify and mitigate potential threats. Collaboration: Work with other IT and security team members to design, implement, and maintain security frameworks. Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of configurations, changes, and security incidents. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your cyber expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT.
