Esthetician | Part-Time

BASIC FUNCTION: Provide facials, waxing services and body therapies with professionalism and personalized service for all spa guests. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE • High school graduate or equivalent. • Current Esthetician License. • Current Waxing License. • One to two years experience as an esthetician. • Previous spa experience. • Ability to communicate effectively. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide facials, waxing, and body therapies with professionalism and personalized service for all spa guests. • Ensure outstanding service through upholding spa flow of greeting the guest, consultation, treatment and closing. • Recommends products for home use and suggests other beneficial treatments offered in the spa. • Begins and ends all treatments on time. • Ensures work areas are clean and equipment is disinfected according to procedures. • Assesses contraindications of guest that may prevent service from taking place. • Report all guest complaints to team leader. • Ensure company policies and procedures outlined in employee manual are followed. • Keep current on all licensure and insurance. • Create and maintains guest files according to procedures. MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: • Respond to any reasonable task assigned by Manager. • Attend necessary meetings. ENVIRONMENT: Working indoors in a spa environment.
