Job Title: Python Developer (NOT Data Engineer) Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid) Contract: W2 / C2C ⛔ ONLY Prior Capital One Candidates ⛔ NOT looking for Data Engineers Job Description: Looking for a strong Python Developer with hands-on experience building and maintaining cloud-native applications using FastAPI and AWS services. Candidate should be experienced in backend development, containerization, and modern cloud infrastructure. Required Skills: • Python • FastAPI • AWS Cloud • ECS Fargate • AWS Lambda • S3 • DynamoDB • RDS • Docker / Containerization • AI Tools (CoPilot, Claude, Windsurf) Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain Python FastAPI applications • Support AWS cloud-native application development • Work with ECS Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, and S3 • Support DFS Integration activities • Collaborate with engineering teams on enhancements and deployments Interview Process: • 45 Minutes Interview • Additional team rounds possible Additional Information: • Prior Capital One experience is mandatory • Hybrid role in McLean, VA • Strong backend Python developers preferred • Data Engineers will not be considered Interested candidates can share updated resume.
