Company Description BioGrowing Probiotics is a company dedicated exclusively to probiotic solutions, with over 20 years of experience starting from branded probiotic formulations in the China market. The company has expanded from dietary supplements into dairy, functional foods, and agricultural probiotics, supported by an application platform that includes three probiotic production facilities. BioGrowing’s portfolio covers bulk probiotic strains, blends, premixes, private-label formulations, dairy starter cultures, functional food products, and feed additives. Its strain library spans Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, Coccus, Bacillus, and Propionibacterium species, enabling tailored solutions for diverse industries. BioGrowing collaborates closely with global partners to deliver high-quality, science-based probiotic products. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Key Account Manager role based in Milan. The Key Account Manager will manage and grow strategic customer relationships in the probiotics, nutrition, and related industries, acting as the primary contact for key accounts. Responsibilities include understanding client needs, positioning BioGrowing’s probiotic strains and solutions, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts to achieve sales and margin targets. The role involves developing account plans, forecasting demand, coordinating with technical, regulatory, and supply chain teams, and ensuring high service levels and on-time delivery. The Key Account Manager will also identify new business opportunities, monitor market trends and competitors, provide feedback to product development, and represent the company at industry events and customer visits. Qualifications Strong Account Management and Key Accounts experience, with a track record of managing strategic customers and driving revenue growth. Solid Analytical Skills and Business Planning capabilities to develop account strategies, build forecasts, and interpret sales and market data. Excellent Customer Service orientation, with the ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships and handle complex customer requests. Experience in B2B sales within probiotics, ingredients, nutrition, food, dairy, or life sciences is highly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Food Science, Biotechnology, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English; proficiency in Italian and additional European languages is an advantage. Self-driven, organized, and goal-oriented.
