<p><strong>What does a <em>Senior Project Manager</em> do at WPP Production?</strong> </p>
<p>This is a Senior Project Manager role, working as part of a team of PMs and SPMs for this client - an iconic global tech brand. The Senior Project Manager is the primary day-to-day contact with the Client Marcom team and works closely with their Producers, Print Production Manager, and Channel Sales Program (CSP) Managers to originate and/or adaptchannel campaigns in Europe.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Build strong client relationships, be the ‘go-to’ person for Channel Marketing asset localization and production </li>
<li>Gain a clear understanding of the client’s Channel partner structure and print vendors </li>
<li>Own the basics of client service including reviewing scope of work, creating and updating timing plans, contact reports and cost estimates </li>
<li>Lead frequent internal and client status meetings, set and manage client expectations ensuring agreed workflows are followed. </li>
<li>Lead high-priority projects and campaigns, managing a cross-functional team, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones. Maintain strong communication with all clients and stakeholders to ensure the project is executed on brief, within budget and on schedule. </li>
<li>Flag important scope of work fluctuations to line manager </li>
<li>Build successful relationships with internal teams (Studio, Print Production, Senior Account Management, Operations) </li>
<li>Brief studio and print production teams, and ensure that the correct creative direction is being taken </li>
<li>Immerse yourself in the client’s brand and offering, act as a brand QC/Guardian – always ensure brand guidelines, QC checklists and procedures are followed </li>
<li>Manage two project managers, setting clear objectives and goals to drive performance. Support their career development by identifying and facilitating training opportunities. </li>
<li>Liaise with resourcing team, organise teamwork, create a balanced work schedule and ensure people are able to deliver results. </li>
<li>Ensure your account consistently delivers against all contractual obligations including SLAs and KPIs </li>
<li>Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Hogarth business model, services and technology </li>
<li>Resolve and/or escalate issues swiftly. </li>
<li>Identify bottlenecks, work with Ops team to optimize structure, team and processes </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Solid agency experience gained working on global retail and/or shopper accounts, from creative development to final production. Localization experience is a must.</li>
<li>Experience managing new features, availability and regulatory requirements across multiple markets for a global tech brand</li>
<li>Experience of Channel distribution models, both production and delivery</li>
<li>Experience managing complicated copy blocks</li>
<li>Demonstrate expertise in the delivery of projects through management of client expectations, internal processes and department involvement </li>
<li>Previous experience in team management is essential. </li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, written and verbal </li>
<li>The ability to write and present documents, presentations and reports to a large audience </li>
<li>Excellent spreadsheet skills in both Excel and Numbers. </li>
<li>Attention to detail, analytical thinking ability and passion for the work are essential </li>
<li>A hands-on, can-do approach to solving problems </li>
<li>The ability to prioritize and work quickly and efficiently within very tight timeframes </li>
<li>Demonstrate clear thinking under pressure </li>
<li>Must be able to work onsite full time with the team in London for 3-4 weeks, up to 3 times per year (hybrid working the rest of the time</li>
