About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing the backend infrastructure that powers our advanced robotics platform. Collaborating closely with robotics engineers, you will create robust interfaces between hardware and software systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining software across edge and cloud environments, primarily utilizing AWS, to facilitate reliable data ingestion, processing, and system orchestration. You will be involved in provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure, writing comprehensive unit and integration tests to guarantee system reliability, and participating actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to support team planning and execution. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and intelligence of our industrial robotic systems, contributing to the company’s mission of making automation accessible and effective for manufacturers nationwide.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum of 5+ years of full stack software development experience
Proficiency in Python and modern frontend frameworks such as React or React Native
Experience designing and operating complex distributed systems, especially in IoT, robotics, or automotive domains
Hands-on experience developing AI-enabled applications or workflows
Strong understanding of Linux operating systems
Experience with AWS cloud services, including AWS IoT is a plus
Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana or Datadog
Experience working with video streaming systems is desirable
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
Responsibilities
Design and develop backend infrastructure supporting our robotics platform, including system provisioning, data pipelines, and remote troubleshooting tools
Collaborate with robotics engineers to create robust interfaces between hardware and software systems
Build and maintain software solutions across edge and cloud environments to ensure reliable data ingestion, processing, and orchestration
Provision, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS
Develop and execute unit and integration tests to uphold system reliability and maintainability
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to team planning, reviews, and continuous improvement efforts
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into development processes
Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the platform to ensure optimal performance
