We are looking for a motivated Legal Counsel to join the dynamic team of a leading Chinese multinational company in the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the consumer division, ensuring full legal compliance across all commercial activities, and providing strategic legal advice to mitigate risk and enable business growth. Responsibiliti es:Legal Compliance: Ensure the company’s consumer business activities (including e-commerce, marketing, and product compliance) adhere to all local and EU laws, covering competition law, GDPR, E SG.Contract Management: Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including distribution agreements, sales contracts, marketing campaign agreements, NDAs, and supplier contra ctsLegal Advice & Support: Provide timely and accurate legal advice to business departments (e.g., online sales, marketing, retail, service) and propose practical solutions for legal issues in daily operati onsRisk Management: Assist in handling compliance matters related to consumer protection, data privacy (GDPR), and advertising law. Identify and assess potential legal risks associated with business initiati vesInternal Collaboration: Work closely with regional legal teams, headquarters legal departments, and other functions (Finance, Tax, HR) to ensure all business activities align with company polic iesLegal Research: Monitor and research the latest developments in relevant Italian and EU laws and regulations, assessing their impact on business operati onsDocument Management: Establish and maintain a systematic archive for all legal documentat ion Requireme nts:At least 3 years of legal work experience with background in the technology industry, consumer goods sector, or a law firm is highly prefe rredFamiliarity with Italian commercial law, contract law, and consumer protection law.
