Senior/ Lead Java/ AI Enablement Engineer. Investment Banking. Boston. $300,000 (Base + Bonus) and Benefits. 5 Days a week in the office. My client is seeking a high-impact Senior AI Enablement Engineer to help lead their engineering team into the next era of productivity. This individual will be instrumental in moving the team beyond simple code-completion to a fully automated, agentic development environment. They will bridge the gap between traditional software craftsmanship and modern AI-accelerated delivery, serving as a coach, mentor, and technical lead. The Role ● Senior Engineer / Lead Engineer ● Capable of operating both as a senior individual and as an engineering lead of a team of 3-5 Location ● Somerville, MA ● Currently eligible to work a hybrid schedule however, must be willing to work full-time in office if requirements change ● Periodic trips to the client’s office in Burlington, MA is required AI Enablement ● Experience with AI-forward SDLC processes ● Able and excited to teach best practices to team members ● Mentorship & Coaching: Conduct workshops, pair programming sessions, and "AI Office Hours" to help senior and junior engineers overcome hesitation and build proficiency Experience ● 5+ years software development ● 2+ years of hands-on experience using AI coding assistants in high-scale production environments.
