Freelance Experiential Marketing Coordinator (Book Launch Events)

We are seeking a Freelance Experiential Marketing Coordinator to support upcoming book launch and signing events in Connecticut. This role will focus on event coordination, logistical support, and on-site execution for promotional activations. This is a flexible, part-time freelance opportunity ideal for someone with experience in events, experiential marketing, or live activations. Requirements RESPONSIBILITIES • Support planning and coordination of book launch and signing events • Assist with event logistics, scheduling, and venue coordination • Liaise with bookstores, venues, and partners where required • Provide on-site support during activations and launches • Coordinate with the client team to ensure smooth event execution • Help maintain a professional and engaging attendee experience Requirements • Experience in experiential marketing, events, promotions, or brand activations • Strong organisational and communication skills • Ability to work flexible event-based schedules • Comfortable working independently and proactively • Based in or near Connecticut preferred Preferred Background • Experience supporting book launches, retail events, author tours, or live activations • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills • Familiarity with local venues and event logistics is a plus
