Description

Our client, a leader in cybersecurity and information technology services, is seeking a Security Engineer‑Jr/Mid to join their team. As a Security Engineer‑Jr/Mid, you will be part of the Security Operations team supporting cybersecurity infrastructure and initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Security Engineer‑Jr/Mid Location Remote Pay Range Fair Market Rate Must have an Active Secret Clearance What's the Job? Maintain and build security tools, primarily Tier3 troubleshooting and engineering for various cybersecurity products. Manage daily operations and administration of Linux servers in an enterprise environment. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to coordinate security projects, tool maintenance, and troubleshooting efforts. Develop and document cybersecurity designs, security requirements, and risk management plans. Perform security reviews, identify gaps, and implement security controls to enhance organizational security posture. What's Needed? 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity and IT, with a focus on security engineering. Proficiency with Linux operating systems, especially CentOS/RHEL, including server administration and troubleshooting. Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with SIEM tools like Splunk and SOAR platforms such as Swimlane is desirable.
