For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Partner Integrations And Origination Platform to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $166,900 – $230,900 annually
Responsibilities
Design and build scalable backend services for origination workflows across multiple products
Enhance reliability, observability, and resilience of critical origination systems and APIs
Refactor legacy systems to create reusable, scalable platform infrastructure
Develop orchestration solutions to streamline partner onboarding processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure lending experiences
Lead technical design discussions and contribute to engineering best practices
Utilize AI-assisted tools to boost productivity and automate repetitive tasks
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field and 4+ years of software engineering experience
6+ years of experience with backend services, APIs, or data-intensive systems in production
Experience owning software through the full development lifecycle, including design, implementation, and monitoring
Proficiency with modern backend languages or frameworks, preferably Ruby on Rails
Experience designing scalable and reliable distributed systems and service integrations
