Product Owner

Project description The Product Owner - Web Applications is accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle of digital supply chain products—from strategy and delivery through sustainment, adoption, and continuous evolution. This role operates at the intersection of complex global supply chain operations, modern web technology, and diverse stakeholder groups, ensuring products deliver consistent value across regions while accommodating local needs. The role requires strong product ownership discipline, supply chain domain expertise, technical fluency in React and/or Node.js, and the ability to lead through organizational, technical, and vendor complexity. Responsibilities Own the full product lifecycle for a technical Web based Application across a complex, multi region environment, to ensure efficiency of product, sustainability, and stabilization Act as the primary interface between Supply Chain Business teams, Engineering, architecture, and support organizations to develop, build and evolve complex reporting and web-design needs Translate complex, often competing business needs into clear, prioritized epics and features Establish industry-standard best practices in web development and navigate ambiguity and conflicting priorities while maintaining focus on overall product value Lead product level change management across diverse user groups and needs, measure and manage adoption using usage metrics, feedback, and operational outcomes Partner with internal support teams and third party providers to ensure 24/7 reliability of production applications and monitor product health, stability, and adoption across regions Drive continuous improvement initiatives by partnering with engineering and architecture teams informed by regional usage patterns and feedback Communicate product direction, delivery progress, operational health, and adoption metrics to diverse audiences to facilitate decision making across business, technical, and vendor stakeholders Skills Must have 8+ years total professional experience, with a blend of: 5+ years in product ownership / product management / business systems leadership The candidate should have: Owned multiple products or major platforms, not just features Managed competing priorities (new development vs sustainment) Been accountable for outcomes, not just backlog mechanics 3+ years working directly with supply chain operations This can come from: Supply chain IT / digital transformation Operations analytics Planning, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution systems Hands on exposure to modern web applications (React / Node.js) earlier in career or adjacent roles Best profile: Former developer, analyst, or technical lead who moved into product Or long tenured PO who has worked deeply with React / Node.js teams Operating in Complexity (Critical Differentiator) The right candidate has: Worked in global or matrixed organizations Balanced global standardization vs local variation Managed multiple stakeholder groups with conflicting priorities Coordinated with third party vendors or system integrators Nice to have Supply Chain Management experience Product Owner certifications Other Languages English: C2 Proficient Seniority Senior Arlington, US, Virginia, United States of America Req.
