Expectations are high, and so are the rewards.</p> <p>We’re excited to invite talented and motivated Android Engineers to join our award-winning team to help expand Robinhood’s mobile experience for our customers.</p> <p>Learn more about some of our available teams below!</p> <ul> <li>The <strong>Acquisition</strong> team is mainly responsible for acquiring and onboarding new users to Robinhood through 3 main avenues: dot-com site, referrals &amp; incentives, and onboarding.</li> <li>The&nbsp;<strong data-start="424" data-end="448">Equities Engineering</strong> team designs and operates the high-performance trading systems that power stock execution, clearing, and market data—enabling fast, reliable, and trusted investing experiences for millions of Robinhood customers.</li> <li>The <strong data-start="4" data-end="43">International Brokerage Engineering</strong> team builds the platforms and trading systems that power Robinhood’s global expansion. They design scalable, compliant, and high-performance infrastructure to deliver seamless investing experiences to customers across new markets and asset classes.</li> </ul> <p>These teams are based in our <strong>Menlo Park, CA</strong> office, with in-person attendance expected at least <strong>3 days per week</strong>.</p> <p>At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community. Our office experience is intentional, energizing, and designed to fully support high-performing teams.</p> <h2>What you'll do</h2> <ul> <li>Work with a fast-growing team to revolutionize finance at speed and scale</li> <li>Build smooth, stable, and elegant products with Kotlin and the newest Android APIs</li> <li>Own features from inception to design, implementation, and launch</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with Product Designers, Product Managers, Backend Developers, and Data team</li> <li>Work with Kotlin, Android SDK &amp; Jetpack Compose, MVVM, Coroutines &amp; Flow (preferred) OR RxJava, and Retrofit &amp; Room</li> </ul> <h2>What you bring</h2> <ul> <li>3+ years of professional Android development experience building consumer Android applications at scale, preferably in Kotlin and Compose</li> <li>Attention to detail, passion for writing clean, readable and maintainable code</li> <li>Proficiency in Kotlin or Java, and Jetpack</li> <li>Desire to improve Robinhood's app and codebase to ensure outstanding quality for our all users</li> <li>Strong product sense and ability to collaborate with Product Managers and Designers</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and passion for solving technical challenges</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred; equivalent training or work experience also acceptable</li> </ul> <p>At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community.
