Job Title: AI-Powered UI/UX Designer
Job Location: Chantilly, vA
Role Overview
We are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking UI/UX Designer to lead the design process for our next-generation digital products. In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative design and cutting-edge artificial intelligence. You will use AI-assisted tools to supercharge the design workflow—from initial user research and prototyping to layout generation and design system management—while maintaining an unwavering focus on the end user's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• AI-Augmented Workflows: Leverage advanced AI design tools (e.g., Figma AI, UX Pilot, Adobe Firefly, or Midjourney) for rapid ideation, wireframe sketching, and generating UI layout variations.
• Intelligent User Research: Utilize AI-moderated testing platforms (e.g., Maze) to gather behavioral insights, predict user intent, and run automated usability tests.
• Design System Scaling: Build and maintain scalable design systems, using AI to quickly adapt components for diverse devices, dark mode, and localized accessibility requirements.
• Intelligent Interface Design: Design intuitive and engaging interfaces for AI-driven features, including conversational UI (chatbots), prompt builders, and data visualization dashboards.
• Cross-Functional Handoff: Work closely with product managers and frontend engineers to ensure a smooth transition from AI-assisted mockups to pixel-perfect, coded reality.
• Continuous Iteration: Monitor real-time user analytics and use AI-driven heat mapping (e.g., Attention Insight) to identify friction points and optimize the user journey.
Qualifications & Skills
• Experience: 3 years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing complex SaaS, web, or mobile applications.
• Design Tool Proficiency: Advanced expertise in industry-standard tools like Figma (with its advanced variables and prototyping features).
• AI Tool Expertise: Familiarity and practical experience incorporating AI creative tools into the professional design process.
• User-Centric Mindset: A strong foundation in UX fundamentals, including information architecture, user journey mapping, and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards.
• Communication: Exceptional storytelling and stakeholder management skills to articulate design decisions effectively.
Ampcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veterans or individuals with disabilities.
