Position Summary As a Senior Manager, Product Operating Model you will be responsible for enabling product teams through the development and management of product tooling, roadmap visibility, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve consistency, transparency, and efficiency across product delivery, with a focus on scalable systems and data-driven decision making. Essential Responsibilities Product Tooling: Manage and optimize product tooling (e.g., Work Management tools and related systems), including workflows, configurations, and reporting structures to support consistent ways of working. Agile Performance Dashboards: Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks to provide visibility into product delivery, roadmap progress, team performance, and key metrics. Benefit Realization: Support definition and tracking of KPIs related to delivery, operational efficiency, and business outcomes. Data Quality: Establish and support standardized approaches to agile product teams, ensuring data quality. Scrum of Scrums: Support Scrum of Scrum dependencies and risk management through standardized reporting. Partnerships: Partner with Product, Finance, Technology, and Business stakeholders to improve data quality, reporting consistency, and alignment on performance measurement AI first: Identify opportunities to leverage AI to improve efficiencies. Agile Ceremonies: Support the development and leadership for our Quarterly Planning, Program Increment sessions. Center of Excellence: Partner with Agile Coaches in leading the Enterprise Center of Excellence and Communities of Practice for Product Operating Model. Additional Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Knowledge of project management discipline and practices Proficient in MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams) Strong communication skills – both verbal and written High attention to detail Independent/self-directed and able to solve problems independently or in a team setting Able to handle multiple priority tasks, work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines when necessary Ability to work with Technology Leadership, Management, third-party vendor(s) and other support teams Required Education & Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an Agile environment Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field. Professional certifications in product management, project management and/or Agile frameworks preferred but not required. Experience with PowerBi, Azure DevOps, and Atlassian Suite preferred, but not required. Familiar with AI: LLMs, co-pilot, generative AI, etc. Working Conditions Hybrid work schedule, Monday-Thursday in a professional open office environment office; working remotely on Friday. Fully remote is an option for the right candidate. Minimum overtime, but it may be necessary to complete special projects or meet deadlines. Travel within the U.S. as required, approximately up to 30% of the time. NRG Energy is committed to a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
