Experience with Southwestern Industries mills and lathes using Proto

Operate and maintain manual machining equipment with precision and efficiency. Work with Southwestern Industries mills and lathes using Proto
TRAK controls. Review blueprints, samples, and instructions to ensure accuracy and more.
Responsibilities
• Operate and maintain manual machining equipment with precision and efficiency
• Work with Southwestern Industries mills and lathes using Proto
TRAK controls
• Review blueprints, samples, and instructions to ensure accuracy
• Take precise measurements and select appropriate machines/settings
• Monitor and adjust production processes in real-time
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and accuracy
• Support R&D and prototype machining projects
• Assist with sheet metal and miscellaneous shop needs as required
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Qualifications
• Manual machining experience required (steel, aluminum, stainless steel)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and stand for 8-hour shifts
• Knowledge of steels, alloys, and NDE processes preferred
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
