Cloud Enterprise Architect (Senior Enterprise Architect)

Our client, a leading organization in the public sector, is seeking a Cloud Enterprise Architect (Senior Enterprise Architect) to join their team. As a Cloud Enterprise Architect (Senior Enterprise Architect), you will be part of the IT department supporting enterprise cloud initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, adaptability, and collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Cloud Enterprise Architect (Senior Enterprise Architect) Location: Remote What's the Job? • Lead the design, planning, testing, and implementation of enterprise cloud infrastructure solutions. • Provide expert guidance on multi-cloud strategies and architecture best practices. • Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation and work samples. • Ensure cloud security and compliance standards are met, including CJIS, NIST, and state regulations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud costs and implement DevOps/CI-CD processes. What's Needed? • 13+ years of progressive IT architecture experience, including 5+ years leading enterprise cloud projects. • Over 10 years of experience across at least two major public cloud providers. • Current expert-level cloud architecture certification. • At least 4 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and scripting. • 4+ years of cloud security and compliance experience, with knowledge of CJIS, NIST, and state regulations.
