About the Opportunity
The Jr/Mid/Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Applications role involves contributing to the development of current and future products within application teams. The position focuses on building features that empower medical technology sales teams and enhance how medical technologies reach patients. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions and improve product performance, playing a key part in advancing the organization’s impact in the MedTech field.
Responsibilities
Collaborative Product Development: Partner with customers, engineers, product managers, and designers to build solutions to complex, real-world engineering challenges.
Feature Delivery: Develop key features and application workflows that directly impact patients awaiting new medical technologies.
Data Optimization: Utilize deep data insights to enhance products, resolve core performance issues, and identify new technical opportunities.
Continuous Process Improvement: Contribute to improving engineering team processes, standard operating guidelines, and internal engineering culture.
Technology Exploration: Explore and implement new tools, frameworks, and architecture patterns for greater scalability and operational efficiency.
Engineering Mentorship: Mentor and guide less experienced engineers across the team.
Advanced Tool Integration: Employ agentic AI development tools to push technological boundaries and optimize software delivery speeds.
Qualifications
Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a software engineer within a product domain.
Customer-Centric Focus: Strong focus on meeting customer needs in a fast-paced, impact-driven software environment.
Technical Stack Mastery: Proficiency in full stack development with core technologies such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, Postgres or other relational databases, BigQuery, and Google Cloud services or industry-standard equivalents.
Adaptability: Genuine curiosity and a willingness to learn and work with emerging software tools and technologies.
Collaboration Style: Empathetic team player who leads peers by example.
Work Authorization: Must possess an eligible, valid work permit in the USA.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation
Base Salary Tiers by Experience Level:
Junior: $105,000 - $150,000 per year
Mid: $155,000 - $185,000 per year
Senior: $190,000 - $250,000 per year
Staff: $250,000 - $300,000 per year
Consideration Factors: Final baseline compensation considers geographic location, role scope, individual experience, specialized expertise, and localized market data.
