In this role, you will work across a variety of technologies, contributing to projects that range from device-specific drivers, services, and communication protocols to cloud-scale connectivity and big data processing. You will also be involved in integrating third-party analytics tools and creating customer enterprise UI for security policy management. The environment is fast-paced and agile, offering you the opportunity to solve complex problems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deploy solutions rapidly. As a core member of our growing software development team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of cloud security solutions and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software systems. Qualifications At least 1 year of experience using Java technology stack and servlet containers At least 1 year of experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Working knowledge of database technologies and SQL, especially PostgreSQL Experience with object-oriented design and design patterns Comfortable working in a Unix environment Experience working in an Agile development environment Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to listen, articulate, facilitate, and advocate Responsibilities Design and develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code Quickly understand and extend existing engineering architectural patterns Document engineering designs clearly and comprehensively Analyze project requirements and estimate development efforts accurately Deliver high-quality, thoroughly tested code that meets project standards Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback Maintain awareness of industry best practices and emerging technologies Support continuous integration and deployment processes Preferred Skills Experience with Tomcat and Spring Framework Experience developing single-page applications using frameworks such as AngularJS Knowledge of security protocols, networking concepts, and handling large datasets Ability to identify and resolve performance issues in code Experience building RESTful JSON APIs Benefits Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage 401(k) plan with company matching contributions Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) Company-paid holidays Equal Opportunity iboss is an equal opportunity employer.
