Assistant Director of Clinical Services Job Summary This role works in partnership with the nursing management team to ensure residents receive outstanding, compassionate care in a supportive environment. The position plays a key role in overseeing daily nursing operations, supporting staff, and maintaining compliance with established healthcare and safety standards. Responsibilities • Oversee and monitor resident care while addressing concerns and initiating improvements as needed. • Assess resident conditions and contribute to the creation of individualized care plans. • Lead care conferences to ensure open communication among residents, families, and healthcare staff. • Conduct daily rounds to evaluate care delivery and resolve any service-related issues. • Organize and lead team meetings across all shifts to maintain quality and consistency in care. • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local nursing care regulations. • Assist with staffing coordination, scheduling, and supervision of nursing personnel. • Support the hiring and onboarding process for new nursing team members. • Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers while ensuring efficient transitions for residents. • Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to strengthen communication and care coordination. • Uphold professionalism, responsibility, and a resident-centered approach to care. Qualifications and Experience • Current nursing license in good standing. • Supervisory or management experience in a healthcare environment preferred. • Knowledge of long-term care operations, regulations, and clinical practices. • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
