Director of Supply Chain Operations
Location: Remote, United States

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Supply Chain Operations to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain performance across procurement, inventory management, logistics, vendor partnerships, and operational planning. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building scalable processes that improve efficiency, service quality, and business performance.
The Director of Supply Chain Operations will collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, customer success, distribution, and executive leadership to ensure seamless execution and continuous operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead daily supply chain operations including procurement, inventory control, forecasting, logistics, fulfillment, and supplier performance management
• Develop and implement scalable operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support organizational growth
• Monitor KPIs, operational metrics, and service levels to drive data-informed decision-making
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, distribution partners, and third-party logistics providers
• Partner with finance and leadership teams on budgeting, demand planning, and operational forecasting
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices across supply chain functions
• Oversee inventory accuracy, replenishment strategies, and operational risk mitigation initiatives
• Support technology optimization initiatives involving ERP, procurement, and supply chain management systems
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing operations and supply chain teams
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and applicable industry regulations
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, or procurement leadership
• Strong knowledge of supply chain planning, vendor management, inventory optimization, and distribution operations
• Experience working with ERP systems, inventory management platforms, and operational analytics tools
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and drive operational improvements
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative, and fast-moving work environment
• MBA, CPIM, CSCP, or related certifications are a plus
Preferred Experience
• Experience supporting multi-site or national operations
• Background in healthcare, technology, manufacturing, distribution, or professional services environments
• Familiarity with process automation and continuous improvement methodologies
