Title and Summary Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis Overview The Manager, FP&A is responsible for supporting the Director and Vice President across a broad spectrum of strategic planning, forecasting, and finance transformation initiatives. The role partners closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to drive alignment, enhance financial processes, and support enterprise decision‑making. Role • Lead support for long range planning and complex financial modeling, coordinating cross functional inputs and driving alignment on key assumptions, timelines, risks, and outcomes • Play a meaningful role in finance automation and modernization initiatives by helping design, enhance, and scale forecasting tools, methodologies, and end to end planning processes • Own end to end Finance Business Partner responsibility for CEO and CFO expenses, including planning, forecasting, variance analysis, performance tracking, and executive level reporting and insights • Act as project manager for finance system development and enhancements, partnering closely with Financial Systems and Technology teams to define requirements, manage timelines, and drive execution • Lead user acceptance testing, validation, and end user feedback for new tools and system updates, ensuring accuracy, usability, and operational readiness prior to enterprise rollout and scaling • Independently manage ad hoc analytical requests and special projects for senior stakeholders, applying strong financial judgment, structured problem solving, and clear, executive ready communication All About You: Education • Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration • CPA and/or MBA preferred Experience & Knowledge • Proven ability to deliver high quality results in a fast paced environment, balancing urgency, accuracy, and multiple concurrent priorities • Demonstrated judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information, with the ability to translate complex financial topics into clear, actionable insights for senior audiences • Strong data management, modeling, and analytical skills • Experience working with financial systems and planning tools such as Hyperion, Oracle, or comparable platforms • Highly collaborative and team oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across functions and organizational levels, including executive leadership • Solid foundation in accounting principles, GAAP, and business process improvement • Proficiency in Power BI preferred Mastercard is a merit-based, inclusive, equal opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
