Executive Director

Role Description The Executive Director is a full-time, remote role responsible for providing strategic leadership, setting organizational priorities, and guiding BitStack Systems through early growth. This role oversees day-to-day operations, including goal setting, resource allocation, and performance monitoring across teams. The Executive Director collaborates closely with the founding team to refine the company vision, define product and market strategies, and evaluate new business opportunities and partnerships. Responsibilities include leading financial planning and basic budgeting, establishing processes for project execution, and ensuring clear communication across the organization. The Executive Director also represents the company with external stakeholders, including potential partners, customers, and advisors, while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture. Qualifications Proven leadership experience in a startup, small business, or fast-growing organization, with the ability to set direction and drive execution. Experience in strategic planning, business development, and operational management, preferably within the technology or digital products space. Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis to support data-informed decisions. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment. Demonstrated ability to build and lead diverse, cross-functional teams, fostering an inclusive, transparent, and feedback-oriented culture. Comfort with ambiguity and change, with a hands-on approach to solving problems and optimizing processes in a lean environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree is a plus. Experience working with or advising early-stage ventures, and familiarity with product development, agile methodologies, or innovation frameworks is beneficial.
