Growth Marketing Manager Open-Source Observability & Analytics Scale-up πŸ“ Location: United States(Remote) πŸ’° Up to $200k OTE (80/20) + equity & benefits The rol eAs Growth Marketing Manager, you'll own the full demand generation engine, from brand awareness through to pipeline, for a fast-growing, open-source-first platform disrupting the observability and log analytics space. You'll be the commercial counterpart to a deeply technical product, translating complex data infrastructure capabilities into compelling narratives that resonate with engineering and platform teams . We're looking for a data-driven, scrappy builder who thrives in early-stage environments and knows how to drive measurable growth without unlimited resources. You'll take ownership of the marketing strategy, build the systems and content needed to scale from community traction to predictable enterprise pipeline, and work closely with sales, product, and the open-source communit y. What you'll do & ach ieveOwn and execute the growth marketing strategy across demand generation, content, SEO, paid, community, and product-led growth (PLG) mot ionsDrive measurable pipeline contribution: leads, MQLs, SQLs, and revenue-influenced metrics with full-funnel visibi lityBuild and manage campaigns across channels, email, paid search, social, developer communities, and events, optimising continuously for CAC and conver sionDevelop compelling content and positioning that speaks to engineering, DevOps, and platform teams, from blog posts and technical guides to case studies and landing p agesLead product marketing activities: launches, messaging frameworks, competitive positioning, and sales enablement mater ialsOwn the company's presence in open-source and developer communities (GitHub, Slack, Reddit, Hacker News, technical for ums)Build and scale an ABM programme targeting mid-market and enterprise engineering organisat ionsEstablish marketing infrastructure: CRM hygiene, attribution modelling, reporting dashboards, and growth experim entsPartner closely with Sales on pipeline quality, lead scoring, and account-based p laysCollaborate with Product and Engineering to amplify releases and surface customer stories that influence roadmap conversat ionsRepresent the brand at industry conferences, webinars, and developer ev ents Who yo u are5–8+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on demand generation and g rowthProven track record of building and scaling marketing programmes that directly contribute to pipeline and revenue in technical or developer-focused comp aniesExperience marketing to engineering, DevOps, platform, or data infrastructure audiences; you understand how developers buy and what earns their trustFamiliarity with the observability, logging, monitoring, or data analytics ecosystem (e.g. Datadog, Grafana, Elastic, Splunk, OpenTelemetry) is considered a strong adva ntageComfortable with open-source GTM motions: community-led growth, freemium funnels, and developer adv ocacyHands-on with modern marketing tooling: HubSpot/Salesforce, GA4, paid platforms, SEO tools, and marketing attrib utionStrong analytical instincts; you make decisions from data, run structured experiments, and can clearly articulate what's working an d whyExcellent written communicator, you can write with clarity and technical credibility for an engineering-first aud ienceHighly motivated, resourceful, and energised by building something meaningful from the grou nd up Follow Scout Global for more roles lik e this
