Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hairstylist role based at Sei Bella Salon in Gladstone, NJ. The Hairstylist will consult with clients to understand their hair goals, recommend appropriate styles and treatments, and perform a range of services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized work station, managing appointment schedules, and ensuring each client receives a professional and positive experience. The role also involves educating clients on proper hair care and salon products, supporting retail sales, and collaborating with other team members to uphold salon standards and service quality. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong Hair Styling and Cosmetology skills, including cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques. • Candidates should possess solid Hair Care knowledge, including product usage, treatments, and best practices for maintaining healthy hair. • Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to build rapport, listen to client needs, and provide clear recommendations. • Valid cosmetology license in the state of New Jersey or eligibility to obtain one. • Experience working in a salon environment with an established following is preferred, with an ability to manage a steady appointment flow. • Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and compliance with state and salon sanitation standards. • Willingness to participate in ongoing training, stay current with industry trends, and contribute positively to a team-oriented culture.
