Senior Software Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $160,000 – $185,000 annually Responsibilities Architect and build scalable platform components using Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, and React Maintain and enhance distributed systems and core microservices Lead code and architecture reviews to ensure high-quality software Drive the adoption of modern infrastructure practices such as CI/CD and containerization Translate business needs into robust technical solutions Identify and implement improvements to developer workflows Engage in production support tasks as needed Qualifications 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, focusing on backend systems and platform services Expertise in Node.js and modern development patterns (TypeScript/JavaScript) Experience with designing and scaling distributed systems for performance and scalability Hands-on experience with AWS and production-grade deployments Familiarity with CI/CD practices and containerization tools (Docker, Terraform) Strong computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures) Excellent communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders Benefits Health benefits Unlimited PTO Parental leave Tuition reimbursements Stock options Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
