Marketing Designer (Equity Only)

Role: Marketing Designer (Equity Only) Location: Remote (Worldwide) Type: Part-Time (Approx. 15–20 hours per week) Equity: 0.25% (4-year vesting with a 1-year cliff) Future Compensation: $40–$100/hour after funding About the Company StartHub is the ultimate entrepreneurship platform designed for founders, by founders. Students and early-stage entrepreneurs gain hands-on guidance, expert-led training, exclusive tools, and access to a thriving community of startup builders and investors. We’ve been building for over a year and are looking for a creative and driven Marketing Designer to help shape the next generation of startup education and community experiences. Role Overview As a Marketing Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the visual identity and marketing presence of StartHub. You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to create compelling visual experiences that communicate our mission, engage our audience, and strengthen our brand across digital platforms. This role is equity-only to start, with a clear path to a paid position as the company grows. Ideal for someone who enjoys building from the ground up and wants to have a direct impact on the growth and direction of an ambitious startup. What You’ll Do: Design compelling, high-impact visual assets for marketing campaigns, social media, and internal platforms Collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to translate startup concepts into engaging visual stories Develop and maintain a consistent brand identity across all digital and print touchpoints Create pitch decks, infographics, presentations, and promotional materials for founders and investors Support marketing initiatives through creative content and campaign visuals Contribute to the overall visual direction and creative strategy of the platform What We’re Looking For: Strong portfolio showcasing modern graphic design, branding, and typography skills Proficiency with Figma Solid understanding of visual hierarchy, color theory, and digital marketing trends Ability to create clean, modern, and engaging designs across multiple formats A startup mindset: adaptable, proactive, and passionate about building products from the ground up Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment Compensation & Timeline Equity: 0.25% company equity granted under our standard equity package (4-year vesting schedule with a 1-year cliff) Future Compensation: As the platform begins generating revenue, we plan to introduce bonuses prior to funding After funding, a one-time bonus will be provided to help compensate for hours contributed prior to funding After funding, the role is expected to transition into a paid position with compensation between $40–$100 per hour, based on responsibilities, experience, and overall impact on the product and company growth Equity Protection: Shares are legally protected through a Restricted Stock Purchase Agreement (RSPA) This is an equity-only role.
