About the Role Joblet.ai is looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our core product engineering team. You will work on the vital backend systems that power our AI-native hiring platform — from complex candidate matching algorithms to dynamic employer-facing dashboards. This is a high-ownership role where your code directly impacts how thousands of professionals find their next opportunity. What You Will Do Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and robust APIs that support our core matching and analytics infrastructure. Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to translate business requirements into reliable, highly performant features. Participate actively in code reviews, contribute to comprehensive technical documentation, and uphold strict engineering standards. Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks across the stack. Partner with Data and Machine Learning teams to seamlessly integrate AI-powered features into the live product. What We Are Looking For Experience: 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience building scalable applications. Backend Proficiency: Strong programming skills in one or more of the following: Python, Node.js, Go, or Java. Architecture & Infrastructure: Deep understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP). Databases: Hands-on experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases. Work Style: A strong bias for action, a commitment to writing clean/maintainable code, and pragmatic technical decision-making.
