GCP Solutions Architect

Job Title: Google Cloud Solution Architect Location: New York City, NY (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Solution Architect to lead cloud transformation initiatives and design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a hands-on architecture role where you’ll work closely with business and technical teams to design, build, and guide the implementation of cloud solutions, while playing a key role in enterprise modernization programs. What You’ll Be Doing • Design and deliver end-to-end cloud solutions on GCP • Translate business requirements into practical, scalable technical architectures • Lead cloud migration initiatives (on-prem to GCP – rehost, refactor, re-architect) • Build secure landing zones with IAM, networking, governance, and cost controls • Architect solutions using GKE, Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for scalable deployments • Enable CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, monitoring, and logging frameworks • Assess risks, dependencies, and ensure solution readiness • Collaborate with engineering, security, and leadership teams • Lead architecture discussions, solution design sessions, and stakeholder presentations What We’re Looking For • Strong experience in cloud architecture / solution design • Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Experience with: • BigQuery, GKE, IAM, Networking, Compute Engine, Storage • Proven experience leading cloud migration and modernization programs • Strong knowledge of Terraform / Infrastructure as Code • Experience with CI/CD, containers, and DevOps practices • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to work in fast-paced, consulting-style environments
