Description
RiVidium is seeking a UX/UI Designer to support our planned MODES III team supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). This role supports Outreach & Engagement Services and helps deliver mission-focused outcomes for service members, families, and related stakeholders. Designs user-centered interfaces supporting PWS C.5.2 digital strategy; ensures accessibility, usability, and performance metric alignment. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities
• Design user-centered interfaces and visual experiences for digital platforms and outreach products.
• Create layouts, concepts, wireframes, or design artifacts that support usability and accessibility.
• Work with researchers, developers, and content teams to improve digital experiences.
• Help align interface design to audience needs, performance data, and brand standards.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor?s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant experience aligned to the role and labor category; openings may be filled at Junior (3-8 yrs), Mid-Senior (8-12 yrs), Senior (10-15 yrs).
• Ability to satisfy applicable Government personnel security requirements for the assigned role and work with sensitive but unclassified information.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills in a mission-focused delivery environment.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality digital, visual, written, or user-experience deliverables relevant to the role.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Knowledge of responsive design, mobile-first design, and accessibility-centered design practices.
• Experience partnering with developers, analysts, and content teams in Agile delivery environments.
Work Setting
This role is expected to support work in the Alexandria, Virginia area, with on-site support at the DoD Mark Center or other customer-approved locations as required. Hybrid support in the Alexandria, Virginia area is expected, with on-site support as required by the customer.
