Graphic Designer

GlitterStarz, Inc. is one of the leading custom apparel brands in the All Star Cheer industry, creating uniforms, practicewear, warmups, bags, and accessories for athletes across the country. We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer who can balance efficiency, creativity, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Design custom athletic apparel, uniforms, and spirit wear using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with occasional use of Canva and Figma. Create logos, graphics, and branding elements for teams, gyms, and events Customize existing apparel templates through recoloring, logo placement, and design modifications Develop original apparel concepts and custom designs from scratch Collaborate with Sales, Production, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to ensure design accuracy and customer satisfaction Prepare production-ready artwork and maintain organized design files Assist with occasional marketing projects, including social media graphics, catalogs, flyers, banners, email graphics, presentations, and promotional materials Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience using Adobe Illustrator 1+ Years of experience using Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and Figma Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and branding Ability to work efficiently within templates while maintaining creativity Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to prioritize projects and perform well in a deadline-driven environment Preferred Qualifications Experience designing apparel, uniforms, sportswear, or fashion-related products Knowledge of Illustrator, Canva, and Figma Experience creating logos and brand identity systems Understanding of garment construction, embellishments, or apparel production processes is a plus Familiarity with CRM systems or project management software Motion graphics, video editing, or content creation experience is a plus Cheerleading, dance, or sports industry experience is a plus West Chicago Suburbs In-office position; local applicant is required What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate understands that great design is both creative and functional. Some projects will involve developing original concepts from scratch, while others will require efficiently adapting proven templates to meet customer needs. Success in this role comes from producing high-quality work, communicating effectively with teammates, and consistently meeting deadlines.
