Description
Technical Product Owner - OneS4 Reporting & Analytics
Reote
Kenvue currently uses data from 17 ERP systems, out of which some are SAP and some are non-standard ERPs. As part of Kenvue's data and digital transformation, these ERP systems will migrate into one single SAP S/4 HANA (internally named OneS4), along with their data and processes. This Product Owner for Reporting & Analytics will play an essential role in mapping the target design with source tables, data ingestion, data curation strategy, data load, and retention strategy, as well as in the coordination with business applications using the data.
Key Responsibilities In general:
• Monitor and manage the product to ensure activities are occurring as planned - scope, budget, and schedule
• Proactively identify risks and issues in the project
• Identify potential points of contention for missed deliverables; create and implement the strategy to mitigate shortfalls in timeline and budget
• Anticipate problems before they occur, define the problem or risk, identify possible causes, work with the team to identify solutions, select and implement the most appropriate solution
• Develop and manage plans to address project strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
Specific details of the job:
• Understand all the S4 raw tables and identify how they relate to the existing ERP tables
• Some tables might remain the same in content and structure
• Some tables might undergo a change, e.g., some tables might be combined into a single table
• Work with IT to ingest all the tables into Kenvue L0
• Work with IT to define and change the curation for L1 objects based on the changes in the OneS4 table structure
• The thought process should be to keep the L1 structural/data change to a minimum to have a reduced impact on downstream processes
• Work with the OneS4 implementation team to understand how the historical data gets into OneS4 to determine the L1 data load and retain strategy
• Map operational and strategic reports in the ERPs being migrated
• Plan for operational reports in OneS4
• Plan for strategic reports from L1/semantic layers based on business needs • Coordinate with downstream applications and analyze the impact, if any; plan the changes accordingly
• User acceptance testing responsibilities
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years' experience in product management
• Knowledge of ERP [SAP/JDE] database/tables [Sales and Distribution /Material Management modules]
• Multiple years of work experience in S/4 HANA data analytics
• Multiple years of work experience with S/4 HANA operational report suite
• Experience in SQL [legacy Hadoop analysis] + Databricks/Synapse and Azure stack [minimum ability to set up and do basic querying]
• Mastery of project management methodology, tools, and templates (including program/project planning, schedule development, scope management, and cost management)
• Working knowledge of Tableau/Power BI
• Project Planning and JIRA
• Test methodologies
• Ability to learn new functions and technologies - fast learner
• Proven ability to work in a global matrix, multi-functional organization
• Advanced communication and collaborative skills
Desired Qualifications
• Existing J&J/Consumer (Kenvue) experience
• Experience in supply chain
• Understanding of the Scrum process
• Superior reporting skills
• Project management certification (PMI/CAPM or PMP, PRINCE2)
