General Corporate Attorney: 1st-2nd year

Cooley’s Washington, DC or Reston, Virginia office is seeking a junior associate to join its dynamic, internationally recognized corporate practice. Our corporate attorneys solve legal issues for entrepreneurs, investors, financial institutions, and established companies, with a significant emphasis on technology, life sciences, and other high-growth industries. Associates with one to two years of general corporate experience involving public and private companies are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have experience representing high growth businesses in connection with financings, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. Candidates will have worked in the corporate department of a national or international law firm, and will have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school. EOE. The expected annual pay range for this position is $225,000 - $260,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
