Private Companies Atty: 3rd-6th year

Cooley is looking for a 3rd-6th year associate to join its elite private companies team in Washington, DC or Reston, Virginia to advise disruptive companies and the investors that fund them. Associates with no less than three years of extensive experience involving early-stage and growth-stage companies are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have deep experience counseling and advising venture-backed companies on general corporate matters through their growth cycle, including venture capital financings and liquidity events. This is an opportunity to join a growing national team advising some the most prominent high-growth companies and their investors. Candidates will have worked in the corporate department of a national or international law firm and will have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school. EOE. The expected annual pay range for this position is $260,000-$390,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
