Our client, is seeking a CNC Lathe Machine operator to join their team. As a machinist, you will be part of the team supporting production. The ideal candidate will have lathe machinist skills that will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist** **Location: Beltsville MD** **What's the Job?** + The hours for this role are 3pm - 11pm + Position Summary: Candidate will be responsible for set-up and operation of multiple CNC Lathe and Mill machines + Check quality of finished parts + Fully understands technical drawings, revisions and note codes, uses QC info + Operate machines, and any other calibration equipment such as calipers, wrench, and air gun or any other equipment necessary to perform job functions + Perform set-ups and tool changes for multiple machines with different controls in order to execute a sequence of operations such as turn, drill, and bore a variety of metal components + Modify, edit, download, and upload programs in order to make multiple parts + Perform offset adjustments and utilize proper tooling, such as inserts and cutters, based on print specifications **What's Needed?** + High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from accredited institution + Minimum of 1 year of machinist/CNC experience OR completion of a machinist/CNC degree/certification **What's in it for me?** **Manpower Benefits** **Free training** Competitive pay rate Stable possible temp to hire opportunity If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
