Job Summary In this role, you have the opportunity to join our team from anywhere as a full-time remote employee! We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and communicative Wholesale Sales Manager to own existing customer relationships, represent the company at trade shows, and prospect for new wholesale customers. You’d be joining an established and growing brand that’s been built on DTC, and has expanded into wholesale over the last 2 years. This is a full-time position requiring approximately 40 hours per week. Role Responsibilities Own relationships with existing customers, ensuring they remain aware of our catalog & order deadlines. Serve as our wholesale customer’s point of contact with Yums for all day-to-day issues, solving problems autonomously and in collaboration with the team. Own prospecting of new customers, based on an established go-to-market strategy that is communicator ed to you for each product line. Leverage brokers where needed to facilitate introductions to large retailers, and communicate directly with medium-size customers. Represent the company at a set of targeted virtual and in-person tradeshows, building relationships with existing customers and facilitating introductions to new potential customers. Approximately 10% travel. Own the demand inputs to the wholesale forecast by communicating directly with customers about their plans, and ensuring that all information is collected in a timely manner to enable our procurement process. Utilize our robust internal systems and your knowledgeable cross-functional teammates to complete new item setup forms, process new purchase orders, and oversee other sales operations duties (which are generally highly automated). Required Experiences & Skills 5+ Years Experience in Sales, with recent experience in Food CPG Preferred: Recent experience in sales of candy across specialty, mass, and grocery accounts Strong detail orientation, ensuring accurate information flow between Yums and customers. Comfortability with ERP & EDI is a plus.
