The COO will be a key partner to the CEO, Executive Management Team, and Board of Directors, responsible for the development and execution of operational strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and long-term vision. This role requires a leader with a strong background in commercial banking or financial services, particularly in senior operational roles, and a deep understanding of banking operations, technology platforms, marketing strategies, and administrative functions. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing commercial operations, information technology, marketing, administration, and facilities to ensure operational efficiency, scalability, and alignment with strategic objectives. Key responsibilities for the COO include directly managing the heads of various operational functions, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and establishing clear KPIs and accountability frameworks. The role also involves fostering a high-performance, client-centric culture, mentoring senior leaders, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred), a minimum of 15 years of leadership experience, and a proven track record of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and execution. Technical skills in banking operations, technology, marketing, and administration, as well as a strong financial acumen and proficiency in project management, are essential.
