Description

We are seeking an experienced product manager who shares a passion for innovation in the payments and technology sectors. This is an early-stage SaaS start-up in Austin with a compelling product in the fintech space. As you join, you would lead the finalization of the MVP launch, own the product vision roadmap, and deliver from that launch through rapid scaling. The role will initially be remote from Austin but eventually transition to hybrid/on-site in the southwest part of town. Lead MVP launch planning, prioritization, execution, and ongoing product evolution. Own and manage the product roadmap and feature backlog across the full product lifecycle. Translate high-level business concepts into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Partner cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, operations, and compliance stakeholders to deliver high-quality releases. Facilitate Agile ceremonies and maintain strong delivery momentum across teams. Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and market validation to inform roadmap decisions. Represent the voice of the customer across SMB, enterprise, and professional-services user segments. Support pricing strategy, monetization planning, and packaging initiatives. Define KPIs and success metrics, monitor adoption and performance, and drive rapid iteration based on data and customer feedback. Contribute to broader company initiatives, including go-to-market planning, strategic planning, and investor/fundraising support. Required Qualifications 6+ years of Product Management experience, including 2–3+ years within fintech, payments, fraud prevention, or financial services. Proven success launching and scaling B2B SaaS products in high-growth environments. Strong Agile/Scrum/Kanban experience with close engineering collaboration. Demonstrated ability to operate independently with high ownership and minimal oversight. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills. Strong proficiency in using AI tools to accelerate research, documentation, prioritization, and analysis.
