Role Description
We’re looking to collaborate with the right person — not fill a rigid role.
WellBeing International (WBI) is seeking a
Communications & Digital Content Specialist
to work with us on an
hourly, contract basis
, supporting our global mission to advance the well‑being of animals, people, and the environment.
This role is well‑suited to an experienced communications professional — including those who
already run a small practice or consultancy
— and is interested in mission‑aligned work that can integrate flexibly alongside existing commitments.
The work may include (depending on your strengths and interests):
• Email newsletters and fundraising communications
• Social media strategy and content creation
• Website updates and content management (WordPress)
• Short video editing for outreach and campaigns
• Design work (print and digital materials)
• Support for presentations, proposals, webinars, and podcasts
• Curating content in WBI’s digital knowledge repository A few important notes about how we work:
• This is a
part‑time, hourly contract position

Hours are genuinely flexible
and vary by project

Scope and compensation are shaped around individual skill sets
, with responsibilities directed toward the areas where you deliver the greatest value
We are less interested in maximizing hours and much more focused on
quality, judgment, and alignment
