About the Role SweetScience, a full-service, independent advertising agency, is looking for a sharp, curious, and highly organized Multi-Channel Content Strategist to shape client and agency stories — and make sure those stories drive engagement and marketing performance. At SweetScience, we believe marketing should do more than move product. It should move people. That means we’re looking for someone who can build content strategies grounded in data, guided by audience behavior, and brought to life through strong messaging and smart channel planning. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and execution. The right candidate knows how to turn audience insight into content plans that build trust, drive engagement, and support business growth. They can see the big picture, but they also know how to roll up their sleeves and make the work real. What You’ll Do • Develop content strategies aligned with client goals, brand positioning, and campaign objectives. • Build editorial frameworks, messaging architectures, and content calendars across digital channels. • Partner with account, creative, digital, and leadership teams to translate business priorities into actionable content plans. • Conduct audience, competitor, and market research to identify content opportunities and gaps. • Shape brand voice, tone, and messaging consistency across campaigns and platforms. • Recommend content formats and channel strategies based on target audience behavior and performance data. • Develop content concepts and write content for digital, social, website, and video applications working with designers and subject matter experts to ensure content is relevant, accurate, and compelling. • Use SEO, AEO and search intent insights to strengthen discoverability and engagement. • Review performance metrics and turn findings into clear recommendations for optimization. • Help clients understand not just what content to create, but why it matters. Who This Role is For • 4+ years of experience in content strategy, brand strategy, editorial strategy, digital marketing, or a related field. • Agency experience is strongly preferred. • Strong understanding of content planning across websites, blogs, email, social, thought leadership, and campaign assets. • Ability to connect audience insights, brand story, and business objectives into one clear strategy. • Experience with SEO fundamentals, keyword intent, and content optimization. • Comfortable using analytics and performance data to inform recommendations. • Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills. • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once. • Experience in B2B, healthcare, food, or purpose-driven brands is a plus. What Success Looks Like • Content strategies are clear, actionable, and tied to measurable client goals. • Messaging is consistent across channels and grounded in audience insight. • Content plans support stronger engagement, lead generation, brand visibility, or reputation outcomes. • Internal teams have the strategic direction they need to create better work, faster. Application Instructions To apply, send the following materials to [email protected]: 1. Your resume or CV, identifying which position you’re applying for. 2. A brief cover note (200–400 words) that includes: • Information on your experience relevant to this role • What you find compelling about this position • An example or two of how you’ve successfully built effective content strategies and campaigns 3. An example of a content strategy document and/or relevant writing samples. SweetScience Marketing is an equal opportunity employer.
