Director of CMMC Sales | $80,000 – $100,000 Base + Uncapped Commission We're partnered with a specialist CMMC RPO that has a proven service model, a strong delivery team, and a clear growth trajectory across the DIB. They're looking for a commercially driven Operations Sales Leader to own new business generation and grow into the COO role as the company scales. If you've got CMMC knowledge, sales instincts, and you'd rather build inside a well-resourced business than run one yourself, this is worth a conversation. The Role: Own outbound sales into defense manufacturers, shipyards, and DoD supply chain companies Work alongside the founder for the first 90 days to absorb the sales approach and methodology, then take full ownership of new business Contribute to the company's broader growth strategy as a genuine business partner What We're Looking For: A solid understanding of the CMMC ecosystem and the ability to hold a consultative conversation at senior level Background in owning or working within an ITMSP, or experience building a CMMC practice from the ground up A proven track record of selling cybersecurity or compliance services into the defense sector Experience selling to defense manufacturers, shipyards, or DIB supply chain companies Someone motivated by equity and long-term upside, not just a base salary What's On Offer: Base salary of $80,000-$100,000 depending on experience and structure preference Commission of 5-15% on closed deals, with OTE comfortably exceeding double the base A performance-based equity vesting package, with a clear path to business partnership as the company scales A fully built delivery team and back-office infrastructure already in place, so you can focus entirely on sales and growth A direct line to the founder and a genuine fast track to COO as the business hits its growth targets If you have a network in the defense space and want the upside of ownership without the full weight of running your own business, we'd love to speak with you.
