Description

About The Company Established in 1995, our company is a pioneering force in the manufacturing industry, specializing in precision engineering and aerospace-inspired technologies. We have a rich history of innovation, having pioneered carbon fiber barrel technology that has transformed the landscape of high-performance firearms. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our production of lightweight, highly accurate, and reliable precision products that serve a global customer base. We foster a culture rooted in quality, creativity, and technical mastery, supporting our team with a collaborative environment and comprehensive benefits. Our dedication to innovation and craftsmanship positions us as a leader in our field, continuously pushing the boundaries of what is possible in precision manufacturing. About The Role We are seeking a talented Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and testing advanced components, sub-systems, and systems that meet rigorous standards of performance and reliability. You will lead the conceptualization and realization of innovative designs, ensuring they align with customer specifications and protect intellectual property. This position combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, guiding a team of engineers through complex projects from initial concept to production. Your contributions will directly impact the development of cutting-edge products that exemplify craftsmanship, performance, and durability. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and possess a passion for precision engineering and innovation. Qualifications The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with firearm design, metal casting, composites, or plastic injection molding is highly desirable. Expertise in system, tooling, and fixture design for precision products is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of engineering principles, scientific methods, and data-driven decision-making. Proven leadership and mentorship abilities are required, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. A track record of solving complex engineering problems involving multiple variables and constraints is crucial. Additional qualifications include proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, and familiarity with simulation tools to optimize design performance and manufacturability. Responsibilities As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, your key responsibilities will include leading the design of major components, subsystems, and prototypes using CAD and simulation software. You will develop and refine products and manufacturing processes to enhance cost-efficiency, quality, and performance. Your role involves generating detailed engineering layouts, sketches, and comprehensive documentation for design proposals. You will evaluate design factors such as manufacturability, material selection, strength-to-weight ratios, and compliance with specifications. Designing and testing metallic, composite, and non-metallic structures for various applications will be part of your scope. Managing new product development projects from initial concept through to production, you will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration. Developing and executing test plans to verify that designs meet performance, reliability, and quality standards is critical. Additionally, you will mentor less-experienced engineers, fostering their growth and problem-solving capabilities. Ensuring adherence to project budgets and optimal resource utilization will be essential to your success. Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and financial security. Our employees enjoy medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, along with life and disability insurance coverage. We provide a 401(k) plan with company matching contributions to help you plan for the future. Paid time off policies ensure work-life balance, and our employee discounts provide access to our innovative products. We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace that values professional growth, creativity, and collaboration. Our environment encourages work-life harmony and outdoor recreation opportunities, reflecting our appreciation for a balanced lifestyle.
