Sales Manager Job Summary of Sales Manager: This position involves managing all facets of store activities such as team building, increasing sales, enhancing customer happiness, and ensuring operational effectiveness. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Manager: • Guide, mentor, and support managers and staff members in cultivating a productive and motivated employee base. • Attract and keep a varied pool of employees while nurturing an atmosphere of teamwork and responsibility. • Boost overall store revenue and financial success through the implementation of corporate tactics and inspiring staff members. • Advocate for enhancing guest experiences and leverage feedback mechanisms to drive enhancements. • Maintain adherence to corporate guidelines for merchandising strategies, operational protocols, and brand specifications. • Enhance credit and loyalty programs by educating staff on how to clearly convey advantages to customers. • Supervise the daily activities of the store, such as managing payroll, creating schedules, monitoring inventory movement, and ensuring signage is properly displayed. • Utilize corporate systems and software such as Zebra PDA, POS, Microsoft Office, and scheduling applications. • Uphold precision in operations while ensuring a tidy, secure, and well-kept store atmosphere. • Carry out additional tasks as directed by management. Qualifications and Experience of Sales Manager: • A high school diploma or its equivalent is necessary, with a preference for a college degree. • Previous management experience valued, with a minimum of 2-3 years preferred. • Effective coaching, clear communication, and strong leadership abilities. • Demonstrated skill in understanding and implementing policies and procedures with success. • Skilled in using Microsoft Office, POS, PDA systems, and scheduling applications. • Skilled at juggling various responsibilities within a dynamic retail setting. • Being open to working variable schedules such as mid shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
