Job Description UI Developer (React.js) Location: Whippany NJ ( Local Candidate ) Job Type: Contract Job Description We are looking for a skilled UI Developer with strong React.js experience to join a fast-paced development team supporting enterprise-level applications for the banking and financial domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building responsive web applications, integrating APIs, and working closely with backend and business teams. Required Skills • Strong experience in React.js • Hands-on experience with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 • Experience with Redux, Context API, or state management libraries • Good understanding of responsive UI design and cross-browser compatibility • Experience consuming REST APIs • Knowledge of React Hooks and component lifecycle • Familiarity with Git/version control tools • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills • Experience with TypeScript • Knowledge of Node.js or backend integration • Banking or financial domain experience is a plus • Experience with Material UI, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Responsibilities • Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using React.js • Build reusable components and front-end libraries • Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and product teams • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
