Description

Job Opportunity This organization is an outcomes-oriented agency comprised of seasoned strategists, accomplished data scientists, and talented artists. Drawing from a rich blend of political, corporate, and governmental experience, this company prides itself on its ability to communicate effectively and measure the metrics that truly count. The firm's areas of expertise include public affairs, corporate reputation, and social impact. Notably, this rapidly expanding enterprise boasts a strong presence on both coasts and skillfully weaves together cutting-edge technology from Silicon Valley, innovative creativity from Madison Avenue, public policy from Washington, and genuine connections with people. As a candidate for this position, your demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, particularly in the realm of direct response, will serve as a valuable asset in your role as a leader of paid digital marketing programs. Collaborating with a team of media planners, buyers, and creative services team members, you will be responsible for coordinating efforts to achieve successful outcomes. Your anticipatory skills will prove useful in anticipating client needs and effectively planning and strategizing for the future. Additionally, this role offers opportunities for mentorship and the development of leadership skills, as you guide and oversee the work of early-career staff on specific projects, and gain exposure to a range of digital strategy and marketing initiatives, beyond those exclusively tied to direct response. Requirements include engaging in activities related to public affairs, advocacy, philanthropic and corporate marketing campaigns, as well as direct response projects. Design communication and digital strategies for our clients, involving the development of content and its amplification through paid or owned channels for organizations, corporations, and executive thought leaders. Evaluate and shape a client's message into engaging content for amplification through paid or owned channels. Provide proactive support to clients, addressing their needs and resolving issues. Deliver formal and informal presentations to both clients and the internal team. Generate written content and review, edit, and provide feedback on work produced by junior copywriters and digital strategists. Collaborate with the agency's creative services team (including design and video) and media planning and buying teams to shepherd concepts from ideation to execution. Develop and manage content calendars and social media campaigns, encompassing both long and short form content. Oversee reporting for both short-term and long-term goals, whether for direct response clients or general marketing campaigns. 3+ years (Associate)/ 4.5+ years (Senior Associate) of communications, public relations, marketing, political efforts or advertising experience required. Intellectual curiosity and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Outstanding collaboration skills and ability to work independently. Strong organization and project management skills. Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills. Experience working for a direct response marketing project either as a buyer, client services strategist or in-house marketing role. Superior written and oral communications skills. Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, etc.) and how they can deployed in different scenarios. Experience writing and editing copy for digital advertising or branded content. Expertise with Microsoft Suite and Google Suite, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Benefits include a range of benefits to U.S.-based employees. Benefits include 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k) program with employer match up to 4%. Generous time off for vacation. $50 monthly phone reimbursement. Unlimited sick time. 12 weeks of paid leave for new parents. Benefits prioritize employee wellness and progressive support. Values diversity and supports a diverse workforce.
