Job Description Management Consulting Domain Expert - Mindrift by Toloka Location: New York, NY (On-site & Remote options available) Job Type: Remote, Project-based, Individual Contributor Role Overview Mindrift, powered by Toloka, is assembling a team of strategy consultants from top-tier firms to build domain-specific reinforcement learning environments for advanced AI systems. This role focuses on translating real-world consulting engagements into structured learning tasks and evaluation frameworks. Key Responsibilities • Build Realistic Project Environments: Create detailed consulting scenarios grounded in real engagement dynamics, including industry context, financials, constraints, and conflicting inputs. • Design Structured Tasks: Break projects into discrete tasks mirroring real consulting work (e.g., market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimization, growth strategy). • Define Evaluation Criteria: Develop grading frameworks and golden-answer solutions to train LLM-based grading systems for evaluating AI outputs. Requirements • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on project experience at one of the following firms only: • McKinsey & Company • Boston Consulting Group (BCG) • Bain & Company • Oliver Wyman • Roland Berger • Monitor Deloitte (Deloitte S&C) • EY-Parthenon • Kearney • Strategy& (PwC) • Skill Set: Strong structured problem-solving, hypothesis-driven thinking, and ability to produce client-ready deliverables under pressure. • Language: Clear written English (B2+ level). • Note: No deep technical background is required; tools will be provided. Compensation Rate: Up to $60 per hour (equivalent), depending on level and pace of contribution.
