Senior Product Designer, Desktop App

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Product Designer Desktop App to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $128,400 – $173,600 annually Responsibilities Define and execute design strategies in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams Engage directly with customers to develop strong intuition for their needs and advocate for them in design decisions Lead the end-to-end design process for desktop applications, from vision to execution Utilize knowledge of native platform conventions to create seamless user experiences on both Windows and Mac Enhance product quality through polished and accessible design, aiming for best-in-class experiences Contribute to design system improvements for consistency across products Foster alignment among teams through effective storytelling and clear decision-making Qualifications 6+ years of experience in product design, preferably in B2B SaaS Experience designing native desktop applications for Windows and/or macOS Proven track record of delivering high-quality design work that improves product metrics Strong skills in interaction design, information architecture, usability, and visual design Ability to translate customer insights into actionable design strategies Experience incorporating AI features or workflows in design processes Proficient in design and prototyping tools, utilizing AI tools in the workflow Benefits Competitive salary with comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Hybrid work environment with in-office expectations for local employees Flexible time off policy offering an encouraged 20 days off annually $2000 annual counseling benefit for employee wellness RRSP matching and RESP contribution plans for financial security Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
