Job Title: Manual Machinist Job ID: 39236 Job Location: Carlstadt, NJ Job Schedule: 2nd Shift 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off Job Description: ARDE Inc., the U.S. leader in manufacturing pressure vessels for space applications, is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you will operate manual machines to produce precision components for aerospace applications. Essential Functions: • Operate manual lathes, mills to produce aerospace components. • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. • Perform inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards. • Maintain and troubleshoot manual machining equipment. • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize production processes. • Follow safety protocols and company procedures. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • 2+ years of experience operating manual machining equipment. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Preferred Additional Skills: • Experience with aerospace-grade materials such as Inconel and aluminum. • Knowledge of precision machining techniques. • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the state of New Jersey is $18.50/hr - $59.13/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
